2016 is coming to an end. What a year it has been! With this article I take a look back at the happenings of past year.
Since I followed the course ‘illustration, digital and analog’ I know how I can make patterns. I find it a lot of fun to make them :). Sadly I didn’t had the time to make new ones lately. A few weeks ago I was just sketching some leaves and it occurred to me the elements would be perfect for a pattern. So I took my sketches and made them into line-art. This year I participated for the second time with Inktober. Every day of October I made an illustration with ink. It is an awesome way to learn and to become better as an atist.

Last saturday I was in Utrecht. Of course I had to visit some bookshops! In one of the bookshops I found a cool picturebook with the Dutch titel ‘Het Dieren Jazzcarnaval’. This book is written by Taï-Marc le Thanh and Rose Poupelain.

Halloween is Coming…
Because I am a big fan of Halloween I decided to make an Halloween jewelry collection. I started a search for cute, fun and spooky Halloween jewelry components. I used those components in designs with techniques from my comfort zone like marbled textures and crackle textures. The Halloween collection has a variety of necklaces, earrings and bracelets.
