2016 is coming to an end. What a year it has been! With this article I take a look back at the happenings of past year.
A new patterndesign
Since I followed the course ‘illustration, digital and analog’ I know how I can make patterns. I find it a lot of fun to make them :). Sadly I didn’t had the time to make new ones lately. A few weeks ago I was just sketching some leaves and it occurred to me the elements would be perfect for a pattern. So I took my sketches and made them into line-art. InkTober exposition
InkTober is growing every year. InkTober is (for the ones that have missed it) an Art challenge and artists from all over the world participate. Every day of the month October you make a drawing with ink. At the end of October the result is 31 ink illustrations.Lees verder/continue reading
Inktober 2016 was awesome!
This year I participated for the second time with Inktober. Every day of October I made an illustration with ink. It is an awesome way to learn and to become better as an atist.
I love to see how big Inktober has become. It is a worldwide event and it really takes over Instagram, Facebook and other social media. It’s fun to watch en see what others make.Lees verder/continue reading
Clay experiments
A few days ago I wrote on Instagram that I like clay. And that is true. I love clay as a material. When you want to make something with clay, you are completely free in what you want to make. New picturebook for inspiration
Last saturday I was in Utrecht. Of course I had to visit some bookshops! In one of the bookshops I found a cool picturebook with the Dutch titel ‘Het Dieren Jazzcarnaval’. This book is written by Taï-Marc le Thanh and Rose Poupelain.
