“Shattered Glass” necklace pendant technique

I’m always searching for new texture techniques that I can use in my jewellery. During one of my reasearch I found a cool texture technique that works well with jewellery. The first attempts to make this texture failed. Those pendants went straight in the bin. But after some practice I made the necklace in the picture below.

It looks like pieces of glass are used in this pendant. I like this “shattered glas” look. As basic color I used orange-red. Some of the materials I used for this pendant are iridescent. When the pendant reflects light, the other colors will show. I like the result of this technique. This time I used orange-red, but I also have materials to use blue-purple as the basic color. I’m curious if the reflecting effect is just as cool as by this pendant.
