When I started drawing as a child, I always used pencils and markers. After a while I also started experimenting with watercolor pencils. Quickly after that I bought Derwent pencils, Faber Castel pencils and Copic Markers. I love bright colors and color contrasts and those tree materials are perfect for that. The last few days I worked on a collage of the four seasons. Since I’ve been testing the ‘twirl tool’ in Illustrator, I found it a good excuse to use it in this project. The background I made in Photoshop with a chalk brush and a marble texture, the rest is made in illustrator.
Laltely I’m in to drawing ghost. The cute ones, not the real scary ones. my old schoolbooks are full of them. You need to do something when you are bored in class.Lees verder/continue reading
For my drawings I’ve never really worked wit a computer before. I thought I was more of a paper-pencil kind of artist, but maybe it’s an idea to give it a try. As a practice I choose the subject dreams and nightmares to make two illustrations.
